Meet Our New Members: The Durham Family

Have you met the Durham family? Ivey and Luke joined our church on July 27, 2025. They have two girls: Annie and Alice. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We have two awesome little girls - Annie (8 years old) & Alice (6 years old).
Where do you work or go to school? Luke owns and runs a company called DREAM4 - a coaching organization that helps companies become healthier. Ivey works for Francis Bryant, a custom homebuilder, and is their project manager. Annie (3rd grade) and Alice (1st grade) go to Crestline Elementary.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Our girls both attended MBBC-ELC and we got to know the MBBC family over time. People continued to invite us to church and other events; simply, we were made to feel welcome.
What is your favorite Bible verse or praise song? Luke's favorite verse is Amos 5:4: "Seek him and live." And our entire family likes any worship song that Micaiah sings!! (We'll miss her!)
What are some of your hobbies and interests? We have a puppy named Rivs and we love playing with him and taking him for walks. We enjoy swimming together, movie nights and trips as a family. And there's always some type of project going on at our house.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Luke and Ivey met through a boys camp in Mentone, Alabama - Camp Laney. Ivey's uncle owns it and Luke was a director there.
