About MBBC

Love God. Live with Grace and Generosity.

A church is neither a building nor a pastor. It is a fellowship of Christians who seek to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. At Mountain Brook Baptist Church, our goal is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are continually growing in their love for the Lord and increasingly living lives marked by grace and generosity.

Worship With Us

Traditional Worship - 9 a.m. in the Gym

Contemporary Worship Service - 11 a.m. in the Gym

Both of our worship services currently take place in the gym while our Sanctuary is under renovation during our Renewal building campaign. The gym is in our Christian Life Center and can be accessed off the Overbrook Road side of the church. Learn more about how to navigate to the church and to Sunday School here.

We offer Worship Care (infant-2K) and Preschool Worship (3K-5K) for children in both services. For Worship Care, children 2K and under are dropped off on the second floor in our Children's Ministry area prior to worship. For Preschool Worship (3K-5K), children leave with our Minister to Children following the Children's Sermon.

We use Realm, our church database and software system, for check-in for preschool children through third graders on Sunday mornings to ensure your child is safe and secure in our care. Learn more here.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sunday School - 10 a.m.

Between worship services, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages. These classes are great places to grow in your relationship with the Lord and to connect with others in our church. Our classes for children are age-graded and we have a variety of classes for adults.
