Have you met Amy Clemmons-Carle? Amy joined our church on March 29. We hope you'll get to know her a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with her one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. I have three amazing children: Jackson (19, freshman at Auburn), who is an amazing drummer; Macklin (17, junior at MBHS), who is also a drummer, alto saxophone player, and State of Alabama Robotics champion; and Bella-Raye (5th grade at Crestline), who is a track star and artist.
Where do you work? I work at Lockton Companies, an insurance brokerage firm where I lead a team of former construction executives who offer advisory services to general contractors on risk management and operational efficiencies to grow their business.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? We sought a community church during COVID, we were attending Dawson and needed to find a MB community church home.
What is your favorite Bible verse or hymn? Psalm 46:10, Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 34:18, Matthew 11:28; Psalm 46:5; I'm trying to do better with hymns. I'm not much of a singer, but I enjoy the music!
What are some of your hobbies and interests? Organizing, decorating, interior design, reading, antiquing, thrifting, planning events
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? I auditioned for Martha Stewart Apprentice--I made it to the interview phase in Louisiana.
