Churchwide Updates: Welcome Libby and Sam!

 |  Churchwide Updates  |  Dr. Wayne Splawn

Libby Phillips started as our new Associate Minister of Music on Wednesday, February 18. Libby earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cello Performance and a minor in Biblical Studies from Samford University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Kentucky.

Libby’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership for our Contemporary Worship Service, but she will also be involved in all aspects of our Music Ministry. Libby is a talented musician with a sincere love for the Lord. We are fortunate the Lord has led her to join our ministerial staff, and I am excited to see how the Lord will use her as a source of his blessing in our congregation in the days and years ahead.

Libby is married to Sam. Sam is no stranger to our church. He is also a graduate of Samford University and served as an intern in our Sanctuary Choir during his time at Samford. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Libby and Sam.
