Cooks On A Mission is a ministry of Mountain Brook Baptist Church. We share the love of Christ by supporting several ministries and organizations in the Birmingham area, as well as the MBBC congregation.
We fund our work by cooking and freezing food items for which our congregation, family and friends make donations. Our food is available on the third Wednesday of each month during the school year from 1:30 — 4:30 p.m., or afterward via the church receptionist. Typically we offer a casserole such as Baked Ziti or Boeuf Bourguignon, a soup, and a breakfast item such as scones. All of our food is made from scratch, with fresh ingredients. We offer gift certificates upon request, and our food makes a wonderful gift.
