Meet Our New Members: The Winkler Family

Have you met the Winkler family? Adair and Colin joined our church on December 17, 2023 and they have an infant daughter, Annie Jacobs. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We met in 2014 when we both moved to Birmingham after graduating from college. We got married in December 2021 and recently welcomed our first child, Annie Jacobs Winkler.
Where do you work? Colin is a Financial Advisor at WInkler and Associates and Adair is a Senior Consultant at LibertyFi.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? We were looking to find a church home where we felt connected and we found that quickly at MBBC. The first Sunday we visited, the Bruhns invited us to join them in their Sunday School class, Grace Group, and we felt instantly welcomed and connected.
What is your favorite Bible passages and favorite praise song? Colin: 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Adair: "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake
What are some of your hobbies and interests? We love spending time together, traveling, cooking, entertaining, and spending time on the lake in the summer with our family and friends.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Colin is a twin! He has a twin sister. Adair is one of four girls.
