Have you met the Hobbs family? Kim and David and their children Anna, Addie, Allen, Andrew, and Aidan joined on Sunday, December 10. We hope you'll get to know them a little better through this latest "Meet Our New Member" blog, and that you'll have the chance to connect with them one Sunday in worship.
Tell us about your family. We have three kids in college (Anna, Addie, and Allen), one in high school (Andrew), and one in elementary school (Aidan).
Where do you work? David works at EBSCO Industries. Kim stays home and runs the crazy household.
What led you to Mountain Brook Baptist Church? Friends suggesting that we visit and a desire for biblically-based teaching
What is your favorite Bible passages and favorite praise song? Micah 6:8 and Matthew 22:37-40, "In Christ Alone" (among many other praise songs)
What are some of your hobbies and interests? We love watching and playing sports of all kinds. We enjoy family travel when we can make it all happen together.
What is a fun fact other people may not know about you? Kim and I met in high school and our first date was at Burger King.
