Rooted is a body of believers made up of married couples in their early 30s to early 40s, with two to four children from newborn through elementary school.

Following the example of Acts 2:42–47, our purpose is to be a body of believers devoted to studying Scripture, fellowship, sharing meals, and prayer.

  • Study and apply Scripture. Our discussion-based Bible study connects Scripture to our everyday lives. We are currently studying the Gospel of John. Previous studies have included the Sermon on the Mount and wisdom.
  • Build relationships. Flex Groups of four to six couples gather between class socials, sometimes for Sunday lunch or time together with the kids, to share life and support one another. A men’s group and a women’s group have also grown out of Rooted, offering opportunities for study, encouragement, friendship, and accountability as we follow Christ together.
  • Enjoy time together. At least three class-wide socials each year combine dinner and conversation with activities such as pickleball, putting contests, and bingo. Smaller summer dinners hosted by David and Jan offer another way to get acquainted.

Please come visit on Sunday.
