Dr. H.L. "Lindy" Martin

Dr. Martin has been with Mountain Brook Baptist Church since 2007 and serves as Outreach Consultant.

Growing up in Virginia and North Carolina, he committed to the ministry in 1949 at BSU Convention in Gastonia, NC. Before becoming a part of MBBC, Dr. Martin held positions at Auburn University and Samford University plus 21 pastorates and interim pastorates. At Samford, he served as golf coach. He has been active in several business experiences. Married to Sue Ellard Martin since 1955, he is father to six children and grandfather to ten.
