Mary has been with Mountain Brook Baptist Church since 2008.  She is responsible for our Junior High Ministries and our Christian Life Center.

Growing up in Cowpens, South Carolina, Mary was a member of Central Baptist Church.

From 2000-2002, Mary spent 2 years in Mexico as a Journeyman missionary.  While there, she taught missionary kids and worked on a church planting team. After returning from Mexico, Mary attended Beeson Divinity School where she received her Masters of Divinity in 2006.  From 2007-2008, Mary served at the University of South Carolina doing college/international ministry.

She and her husband Wayne have been married since 2004.  Mary enjoys tennis, jogging (slowly but surely) and playing with her niece and nephews. Her favorite CD at the moment is Jon Foreman’s Spring and Summer EP – especially the track “Your Love is Strong.”
