SUMMER DAYS
Completed Kindergarten to 6th grade

Summer is just around the corner and we are ready at MBBC-ELC. The Summer Days program will offer full-time care beginning June 1, 2010. The program will offer 9 weeks of care from 7:00a.m. to 6:00pm. and enroll children who have completed 5K or Kindergarten (those planning to go to 1st grade) to the 6th grade. We will accept a limited number of children with priority enrollment to Church Members, ELC Families enrolled and Community. Attendance may be reserved in 1 week increments or by calling 24 hours in advance for drop in care, which will charge a separate fee. We hope this will allow flexibility for you in attendance.

Summer Days will rely on several Bible curriculum sources for our daily developmentally appropriate Bible study.  Our main theme will be Route 254 a Club VBS curriculum. Also, this year’s Vacation Bible School theme (in which the children will participate if enrolled) is “Saddle Ridge Ranch”. We will also offer a variety of activities that include, recreational and board games, swimming and mission’s activities that include making cards and crafts for Children’s Hospital and elderly shut-ins.

Field trips galore! There are many exciting field trips. We will swim at Pine Tree Country Club; we have also planned McWane Center, blue berry picking, laser tag, bowling and many more. Children who are planning to attend 1st grade in the fall up to 6th grade will attend the field trips. Children who are planning to go to Kindergarten in the fall will go to Camp Pal each day from 9-1 then return to Summer Days. Pre-Teen Monday is also back! Children who have completed 4th, 5th and 6th grade can choose to attend other fun field trips and activities.

Those interested in registering for Summer Days should submit the registration form and the non-refundable registration fee of $65.00 per child by March 26th. Please see the registration form for details.
