MEET OUR MINISTERS
Ken has been with Mountain Brook Baptist Church since 2004. He is responsible for our numerous music ministry programs.
Growing up in the Virginia/North Carolina region, Ken was a member of several churches in his youth. He became a Christian at the age of 6.
Before becoming a part of MBBC, Ken served as the Director of Choirs and Fine Arts Chairman at John Carroll High School in Birmingham.
Ken often serves as clinician and adjudicator throughout the United States. His music is published with Carl Fischer, Chorister's Guild, Colla Voce, Emerson Music, Hal Leonard, Pavane Music, Walton Music, and many more.
He and his wife, Susan, have been married for since 1977 and have two adult sons. Ken enjoys writing, yard work and ballroom dancing with Susan.
Ken and Susan also serve as the Music Directors for the Birmingham Boys Choir; and have done so since 1978. The BBC is currently based at MBBC. For more information, please visit www.birminghamboyschoir.com.
