Dr. Pelton has been with Mountain Brook Baptist Church since 1996. He is responsible for the Christian Education Ministries of the church.
Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Pelton was a member of Spencer Memorial Baptist Church and became a Christian at age seventeen.
Before becoming a part of MBBC, Dr. Pelton served as Minister of Education Administration at First Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
He and his wife, Lennie, have two adult children and two grandchildren. Dr. Pelton enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family.
