Dr. Moebes has been with Mountain Brook Baptist Church since 1975. As the Church's Senior Minister, he is responsible for all phases of the Church's local, national and international ministries.
Growing up in Decatur, Alabama, Dr. Moebes became a Christian as a young boy. His commitment to ministry was made in 1958 and he was ordained in May, 1962 by Mountain Brook Baptist Church.
Before becoming a part of MBBC, Dr. Moebes served in administrative posts at the University of Alabama, the Medical College of Georgia, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville during interim pastorates in numerous churches.
He and his wife, Gail, were married in 1962 and have two adult children and four grandchildren. Dr. Moebes enjoys fishing, fishing and fishing.
